Of all the myriad traffic signs, signals, and markings we enounter in urban settings, this zine takes a rare but innovative crossing — the Pedestrian Scramble — as its subject, highlighting its role in creating pedestrian-friendly cities.

A pedestrian scramble is a road crossing that halts all vehicular traffic, thereby allowing pedestrians to cross an intersection in every direction, including diagonally, at the same time. By redrawing these shapes in a vectorial 2D space while also observing them in situ, this zine depicts the beauty and diversity of their forms as well as their real-world contexts and functions.
